What a euphoric day 'Feb 14th' is for women in the U.S.!Unlike women in Japan, who usually shop around for a chocolate box to a person they love or they care, women just can expect their darling's gift. There is another acceptable custom which can be found when we turn over a calendar. There is no "White day" on Mar 14th when Japanese men usually send a gift to women in return. But here, we don't need to feel an obligation!
As for me... "When in Rome, do as Romans do ;)" My partner dropped by the nearby supermarket on the way back home from work, and bought some food, and kindly prepared dinner!! He cooked up some pasta with crabs and pork sautes/french fries and a bowl of salad.
